Off-Road Recovery (Continued)

This collision involved a driver drifting off the road and into the median of a four lane divided freeway. In an attempt to get back on the roadway, the driver steered hard to the right. The car swerved and headed off the right side of the road. This time he steered to the left to regain control. When the vehicle crossed into the median it was sliding sideways and ended up hitting oncomming traffic. Many times there will be evidence of two attempts to regain control before a rollover incident.
