Driving under the influence of
alcohol is the third leading cause of motor vehicle crashes.
It is the leading cause of traffic fatalities. Drinking
and driving don't mix. Alcohol affects a person's ability
to make crucial driving decisions, such as braking, steering,
or changing lanes. Later in the course we will cover the
physiological (coordination, ballance, vision etc.) and
phychological (aggression,
inhibition, focus and memory) effects of alcohol.
