Roadway Hazards
When your on the
road it's important to be prepared for hazards. Many new
drivers don't reduce their speed for varying conditions.
When driving in icy conditions on a curved road, don't go
by the posted speed limit. Reduce your speed the for the
conditions.
Potholes and debris
on the road can cause serious accidents. If you abruptly
swerve to miss a
hazard, the driver behind you may not be able to avoid hiting
it. Look ahead and don't follow too closely behind other
drivers.
Rain,
ice and mud can make turns hazardous and increase the distance
required to stop. Read the road ahead and watch your speed.
