Interacting
with Trucks (Continued)
Maneuverability
Trucks
are not as maneuverable as cars and small trucks. Many large
tractor-trailers have warning stickers and flashing yellow
arrows to warn drivers about
lingering alongside a truck when passing.
For all turning vehicles,
the rear wheels follow a shorter path than the front wheels.
Many times a truck driver will need to swing to the left
prior to making a right turn.
Always pass a large truck on the left side. When you have
passed the truck, move well ahead of it and out of the No-Zone.
